Emergent Men: Exploring Self-Love & Sacred Sound Therapy
February 19 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm£20 – £30
The Emergent Men invite all who identify as male to share, grow & heal at this transformative event on February 19th 2022. Held at The Wild Box in Bedminster, Bristol we have an afternoon of sacred sound therapy, breath-work and sharing circles planned.
This will be a space for us all to drop into a deeper awareness of self-love as we explore what it means to love ourselves as men. This month’s experience will be a sound bath therapy facilitated by some amazing brothers, who use sound as a non-invasive medium to experience a deeper connection to self through listening.
We all experience sound on intimate levels whether it is listening to our favourite music, the gentle sounds of nature or our immediate environment and the words we use everyday. The sounds we allow into our personal space often determine the mental and emotional states we inhabit. In a world full of noisy distractions it’s important to tune into more tranquil vibrations for a healthier mind.
This event will be an immersive experience through the full spectrum of sound using a whole range of different instruments from all over the world. A culmination of harmonious sounds and sensations that’ll offer an invitation to embrace a deep state of calm and relaxation.
Exploring the theme of self-love this month, we will be seeking to deepen our relationships to ourselves, not just as men, but as human beings and as souls. As men in today’s society we often don’t grant ourself the permission to truly love ourself, and many of us have forgotten what it feels like to be in love with oneself entirely. We as Emergent Men want to change that narrative of masculinity and encourage us all to be tender and loving with ourselves.
Join us on Saturday, February 19th from 3 pm – 6 pm for the second Emergent Men’s circle of 2022 and become part of the tribe.
